Z1RO Recognized as a Tech For Change Startup at VivaTech 2026

The post-plastic era will not be built by one single breakthrough. It will be built by thousands of better material decisions — across packaging, production, logistics and consumer goods.

That is why we are proud to share that Z1RO has been recognized as a Tech For Change startup at VivaTech 2026.

For us, this recognition is more than an event milestone. It is a sign that material innovation is moving from the margins to the mainstream. The conversation around sustainable packaging is no longer only about removing plastic. It is also about what replaces it, how that material performs, whether it can scale and whether it makes sense for brands, manufacturers and end users.

At Z1RO, we are developing premium molded packaging from non-wood biomass. We transform fallen leaves, hemp, bamboo and agricultural residues into scalable packaging solutions for global brands looking for alternatives to plastic and conventional wood-based materials.

Our work is focused on a simple but urgent question: how can packaging become more responsible without losing functionality, protection, design quality or industrial viability?

Being selected among Tech For Change startups at VivaTech 2026 strengthens our belief that the next generation of climate and sustainability solutions will come not only from energy, mobility or AI, but also from the materials we use every day.

A huge thank you to VivaTech and its Tech For Change partners for spotlighting technologies that combine environmental impact with business viability.

We look forward to presenting Z1RO in Paris on June 17–20 and meeting brands, partners, investors, journalists and innovators who are also working on what comes after plastic.

See you at VivaTech 2026.
